You cannot be anxious, worried, or fearful if you are focused on God’s perfect love for you. Perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18).

There are adventures with God that can only begin when we allow God’s love to be embedded in our hearts. When God’s love and our trust combine consistently, we can overcome any negativity, cautiousness and fear.

Instead of being negative we see God’s promises.

Instead of being cautious we are curious. (explain)

What will the Father do?

What is the Holy Spirit teaching me?

What is my position in Jesus?

Instead of fear we become full of courage.

Instead of feeling negative about life, we are excited about what Jesus is up to. We are in Him and He is in us. Therefore, life is full of wonderful possibilities.

In each and every circumstance I have learned to prayerfully ask this question – “What is it Lord that you want to be for me now that you couldn’t be at any other time?”

“When God is teaching us trust he’s actually teaching us how to kill off anxiety, fear, panic and worry. You can’t trust the Lord and hold onto your anxious thoughts. They can’t exist in the same space at the same time. One of them has to go, and you have the power to choose!”

So, Every situation is an invitation to an upgrade in Trust.

What is it that God wants to be for you now that He could not be at any other time?

The answer to your current situation is first of all relational. Stay in this place until you get a breakthrough in your perception of who God is for you. Life always begins there at the relational level!

We have heard and know the importance of walking by faith and trusting God, yet it is easy to overlook the importance of relating with the one we are saying we trust.

Trust is relational. Faith is situational.
