Rise Up – 5. Everything Jesus deserves is yours!

Our Father gives us permission to freely ASK for & humbly RECEIVE ALL that Jesus deserves! 

James 4.2c (NKJV) …Yet you do not have because you do not ask. 

Favor… Blessing… Protection… Warnings… Strength… Power…

James 1.5 (NLT) If you need wisdom—if you want to know what God wants you to do—ask him, and he will gladly tell you. He will not resent your asking.

James 1.6 (NLT) But when you ask him, be sure that you really expect him to answer, for a doubtful mind is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind.

James 1.7 (NLT) People like that should not expect to receive anything from the Lord.

James 1.8 (NLT) They can’t make up their minds. They waver back and forth in everything they do. 

Romans 5:1-2

Our faith in Jesus transfers God’s righteousness to us and he now declares us flawless in his eyes.^[a] This means we can now enjoy true and lasting peace^[b] with God, all because of what our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One, has done for us. ² Our faith guarantees us permanent access into this marvelous kindness^[c] that has given us a perfect relationship with God. What incredible joy bursts forth within us as we keep on celebrating our hope of experiencing God’s glory!

• Jesus was punished that we might be forgiven
• Jesus was wounded that we might be healed
• Jesus was made sin with our sinfulness, that we might be made righteous with His righteousness
• Jesus tasted death for us that we might share His life
• Jesus was made a curse that we might receive the blessing
• Jesus endured our poverty that we might share His abundance
• Jesus bore our shame that we might share His glory
• Jesus endured my rejection that I might have His acceptance with the Father
• He was cut off that we might be joined to the Lord
• Our Old Man was put to death in Him that the New Man might come to life in us
