The Gospel. The simple proclamation that Jesus sits on the throne as a victorious Savior not a defeated man. And now He freely grants us all that we need to live the life that He is calling us up to.

Babies are complete but must learn how to walk in their completeness. Called maturity.

Eph. 1:1-3

Dear friends, My name is Paul, and I was chosen by God to be an apostle of Jesus, the Messiah. I’m writing this letter to all the devoted believers[a] who have been made holy[b] by being one with Jesus, the Anointed One. May God himself, the heavenly Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, release grace over you and impart total well-being[c] into your lives. Every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm has already been lavished upon us as a love gift from our wonderful heavenly Father, the Father of our Lord Jesus—all because he sees us wrapped into Christ. This is why we celebrate him[d] with all our hearts!

Branch and vine illustration

the essence of the Gospel is this –

By God’s grace everything that Jesus deserved was given to us and everything we deserved was received by Him.

2Cor. 5:21

21 For God made[a] the only one who did not know sin to become sin for us,[b] so that we who did not know righteousness might become the righteousness of God through our union with him.[c]

Jesus did not sin to become sin. He received it.

We did no righteous to become righteous. We must receive it!

I like to call it the “Radical Exchange”!!!
