I like to call it the “Radical Exchange”!!!

Jesus was punished that we might be forgiven (Is. 53:4–5)

Jesus was wounded that we might be healed (Matt. 8:16–17)

Jesus was made sin with our sinfulness that we might be made righteous with His righteousness (Is. 53:10; 2 Cor. 5:21)

Jesus tasted death for us that we might share His life (Heb. 2:9)

Jesus was made a curse that we might receive the Fathers blessing (Gal. 3:13–14).

Jesus endured our poverty that we might share His abundance (2 Cor. 8:9 [2 Cor. 9:8; Deut. 28:47–48])

Jesus endured our shame that we might share His glory (Matt. 27:35–36 [Heb. 2:10])

Jesus endured our rejection that we might have His acceptance

I am a recipient of EVERYTHING He deserved because what He did was final and satisfactory to the Father. His work was finished. His performance was a PERFECT 10!

Rom. 1.16 (NKJV)

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.

Rom. 1.17 (NKJV) For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.”

Rom. 10.17 (NLT) Yet faith comes from listening to this message of good news—the Good News about Christ.

Preach to yourself the gospel every day. I have had to preach to myself “Justin, God is relational before He wants your functional” for the last two years!

the “good news” Is the gospel!

the word “evangelist” refers to someone who would come and announce victory on the battlefield.

2Tim. 4.5 (NKJV) But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.

The Gospel is the reason we Call people up. Instead of calling them out!!!

Even you. Call yourself up into who you are not out toward God.

Romans 8:32-34 The Passion Translation (TPT)

32 For God has proved his love by giving us his greatest treasure, the gift of his Son. And since God freely offered him up as the sacrifice for us all,[a] he certainly won’t withhold from us anything else he has to give. 33 Who then would dare to accuse those whom God has chosen in love to be his? God himself is the judge who has issued his final verdict over them—“Not guilty!”[b] 34 Who then is left to condemn us? Certainly not Jesus, the Anointed One! For he gave his life for us, and even more than that, he has conquered death and is now risen, exalted, and enthroned by God at his right hand. So how could he possibly condemn us since he is continually praying for our triumph?[c]

Its not “Hey everyone Jesus died, now change your behavior and follow Him and start acting more like Him!”

NO!!!!

its “Christ died and when you receive Him He gives you new life with a new identity filled with His power to live like Him!!!”

Col. 1:28-29

28–29 Christ is our message! We preach to awaken hearts and bring every person into the full understanding of truth. It has become my inspiration and passion in ministry to labor with a tireless intensity, with his power flowing through me, to present to every believer the revelation of being his perfect one in Jesus Christ.
