The challenges of life have a way of distorting these simple but yet profound truths. The more deeply you understand that,

He is always good.

He always has your best in mind.

And He is always setting you up to succeed at what He is calling you to do.

The better you will be able to trust your Father regardless of what you feel or even see or even what stands before you.

Never forget this –

Trust is relational & Faith is situational.

David can say, “the lord is my shepherd”

&
“I have killed lion and bear…”

When you trust, you are trusting in the nature & character of God: Who is He for you. Your father who

is always good.

He always has your best in mind.

And He is always setting you up to succeed at what He is calling you to do.

Trust is relational. Faith is situational.

At our men’s meeting this past wed. it was said a couple of times how we can get scared of God stretching us. As I was walking the next morning I was sharing that dialogue with God and asking why are we at times scared to be stretched by you.  I felt like He gave me an illustration to help me understand the flaw in that way of thinking.  (Karly & the Ferris Wheel)

Trust is relational. Faith is situational.

As we focus on WHO God is for us and wants to be for us it will get it through some of life’s most difficult & darkest moments….

Psa. 27:13 (nkjv)  I would have lost heart, unless I had believed  that I would see the goodness of the lord  in the land of the living.

Psa. 27:14 (nkjv)  wait on the lord;  be of good courage,  and he shall strengthen your heart;  wait, I say, on the lord!

So wait on the Lord.

Be of good courage.

God will come through.

You will make it through.

You will come out victorious!

You will rise up to be who God has called you to be.

You are a victor not a victim.

You are an overcomer!

You are more than a conqueror.

Do you believe this?
