David declared to himself,

Psa. 23:6 (nkjv)  surely goodness and mercy shall follow me  all the days of my life;  and i will dwell in the house (presence) of the lord  forever.

The word “follow” means: to search for eagerly, to track down, to hunt for someone with relentless abandon, to chase, to pursue ardently and to run after.

So, Every situation is an invitation to an upgrade in Goodness.

Rom. 8:28 (nkjv) and we know that all things work together for good to those who love god, to those who are the called according to his purpose.

Romans 8:28 (passion)

28 So we are convinced that every detail of our lives is continually woven together to fit into God’s perfect plan of bringing good into our lives, for we are his lovers who have been called to fulfill his designed purpose.

Psalm 66:10-12 The Passion Translation (TPT)

10 O Lord, we have passed through your fire; like precious metal made pure, you’ve proved us, perfected us, and made us holy. 11 You’ve captured us, ensnared us in your net. Then, like prisoners, you placed chains around our necks.[a] 12 You’ve allowed our enemies to prevail against us. We’ve passed through fire and flood, yet in the end you always bring us out better than we were before, saturated with your goodness.[b]

Job reminds us of one very important truth –

Job 23:10 (nkjv)  but he knows the way that I take;  when he has tested me, I shall come forth as gold.

He knows…

  • Your pain…
  • Your hearts cry…
  • Your purpose…
  • Your desires…
  • Your failures/mistakes…
  • Your insecurities…

He tenderly cares…

1 Peter 5:7 The Passion Translation (TPT)

Pour out all your worries and stress upon him and leave them there, for he always tenderly cares for you.[a]

He is always working in our lives…

Rom. 8:28 (nkjv) and we know that all things work together for good to those who love god, to those who are the called according to his purpose.

Is. 61.1 (NLT) The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is upon me, because the Lord has appointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to comfort the brokenhearted and to announce that captives will be released and prisoners will be freed.

Is. 61.2 (NLT) He has sent me to tell those who mourn that the time of the Lord’s favor has come, and with it, the day of God’s anger against their enemies.

Is. 61.3 (NLT) To all who mourn in Israel, he will give beauty for ashes, joy instead of mourning, praise instead of despair. For the Lord has planted them like strong and graceful oaks for his own glory.

Is. 61.4 (NLT) They will rebuild the ancient ruins, repairing cities long ago destroyed. They will revive them, though they have been empty for many generations.

Is. 61.6 (NLT) You will be called priests of the Lord, ministers of our God. You will be fed with the treasures of the nations and will boast in their riches.

Is. 61.7 (NLT) Instead of shame and dishonor, you will inherit a double portion of prosperity and everlasting joy!
