I believe, in this room, there are only winners.
There are ONLY those who are victors.
And There are only overcomers here today.

I am not saying that to blow smoke at you.

No one here is at a disadvantage in God’s kingdom. Therefore no one is at a disadvantage in this life. To think otherwise is contrary to kingdom thinking. You have access to all of God’s favor!!! His bias and advantage toward you!

Each and everyone of you have a purpose that comes with a grace (God’s empowering presence) to do what God has called you to do.

2Tim. 1.9 (NKJV) who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began,

No matter how hard life has hit you, just know…… you are still standing. And the devil is mad as hell!

You’re here today worshiping God! And That speaks volumes. To both heaven and to hell.

You may not feel on top today.
You may even feel like you don’t have much more left in your tank, but I believe today will answer some questions that reside within your heart. I believe today will give you the courage to believe and rise up to who God is making you to be.

Abram… father of many nations

I pray God’s word will cause you…
To stand stall.
To stand with confidence in the face of adversity.
Knowing that you are not only going to just make it, but you will overcome with a vengeance. (reminded of David)

All of the Christian life hinges on two words “Deny Self”…

Many who came asking Jesus to follow Him,
Mark 8.34 (NKJV) When He had called the people to Himself, with His disciples also, He said to them, “Whoever desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.
Mark 8.35 (NKJV) For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel’s will save it.
Mark 8.36 (NKJV) For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?
Mark 8.37 (NKJV) Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?

All of us (to whatever degree) have something called, “spiritual dyslexia.” Dyslexia is where a person sees things backwards. A dyslexic person sees the word “god” as “dog”. There’s a huge difference between God and a dog; yet dyslexics don’t see it.
“Spiritual dyslexia” has a similar effect on people.

Function determines relationship.

I feel therefore I am.

I have a right to be hurt, angry, mad because I’m human.

I believe its time for this particular set of messages regarding Faith to be Injected into our community.

That phrase “From Faith to Faith”… means from a young faith to a maturing faith. This new life in Christ begins with faith in Jesus’ death and resurrection and is then lived out daily by trusting in the finished work of Christ and now holds on firm to the end.

Refusing to settle but constantly growing.

Faith is responsive. Not initiating. God is always the initiator. Always!

Faith is responding to what God has said to us and to what Jesus did for us

Faith… is a perspective you live from – living from Heaven’s view of why we’re here and where we are going.

Faith is a lens that looks at every problem with excitement & wonder. Asking, “God what are you up to?”

When we walk by faith it produces…
A true Joy that is not dictated by our circumstances
a Peace that is not moved by the winds and the waves of life.
Causes you to overcome and conquer fear, anxiety & worry once and forever.

Faith is…
embracing Him the author and perfector of our faith,
holding on to & standing firm in our Father’s perspective.
Resting in God’s love…

Gal. 2.20 (NKJV) I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.

All faith works through Love.

Gal. 5.6 (NKJV) For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working through love.

That means love is the driving force behind our faith. Remove or diminish love, and faith ceases to be what it should be. Many of us try hard to believe when we should be seeking a greater revelation of God’s love for us. Then, faith would just naturally work. Love produces faith, or is what makes faith work. We naturally trust those who we know truly love us. A revelation of God’s unconditional love for us will make faith just naturally abound in us.

My faith is a responsive to God Love for me.
He is always good to me.
He always has our best in mind.
He is always setting you up to succeed in Him.

Life Has A Way Of Distorting Our View Of God and darkening His goodness…

Psa. 119:68 (Nkjv) You Are Good, And Do Good; Teach Me Your Statutes.

Psa. 25:8 (Nkjv) Good And Upright Is The Lord; Therefore He Teaches Sinners In The Way.

Psa. 86:5 (Nkjv) For You, Lord, Are Good, And Ready To Forgive, And Abundant In Mercy To All Those Who Call Upon You.

Psa. 100:4 (Nkjv) Enter Into His Gates With Thanksgiving, And Into His Courts With Praise. Be Thankful To Him,
Psa. 100:5 (Nkjv) For The Lord Is Good; His Mercy Is Everlasting, And His Truth Endures To All Generations.

James 1:17 (Nkjv) Every Good Gift And Every Perfect Gift Is From Above, And Comes Down From The Father Of Lights, With Whom There Is No Variation Or Shadow Of Turning.

The More Deeply You Understand The Truth Of What I Will Share With You Today, The Better Able You Will Trust God In Every Circumstance Of Life…

When Was The Last Time You Took A Moment To Think Upon The Goodness Of God?

Believing In The Goodness Of God Will Get You Through Some Of Life’s Greatest Challenges…

Psa. 27:13 (Nkjv) I Would Have Lost Heart, Unless I Had Believed That I Would See The Goodness Of The Lord In The Land Of The Living.
Psa. 27:14 (Nkjv) Wait On The Lord; Be Of Good Courage, And He Shall Strengthen Your Heart; Wait, I Say, On The Lord!

Psa. 23:6 (nkjv) surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house (presence) of the lord forever.

The word “follow” means: to search for eagerly, to track down, to hunt for someone with relentless abandon, to chase, to pursue ardently and to run after.

So, Every situation is an invitation to an upgrade in Goodness.

Rom. 8:28 (nkjv) and we know that all things work together for good to those who love god, to those who are the called according to his purpose.

Romans 8:28 (passion)
28 So we are convinced that every detail of our lives is continually woven together to fit into God’s perfect plan of bringing good into our lives, for we are his lovers who have been called to fulfill his designed purpose.

And so the enemy is coming to steal the truth sown in your heart. Your faith is on the line. He does this through deception and distortion.

Luke 12:32 (Nkjv) “Do Not Fear, Little Flock, For It Is Your Father’s Good Pleasure To Give You The Kingdom.

God’s Goodness Will Lead You Thru…

Psa. 23:1 (Nkjv) The Lord Is My Shepherd; I Shall Not Want.
Psa. 23:2 (Nkjv) He Makes Me To Lie Down In Green Pastures; He Leads Me Beside The Still Waters.
Psa. 23:3 (Nkjv) He Restores My Soul; He Leads Me In The Paths Of Righteousness For His Name’s Sake.
Psa. 23:4 (Nkjv) Yea, Though I Walk Through The Valley Of The Shadow Of Death, I Will Fear No Evil; For You Are With Me; Your Rod And Your Staff, They Comfort Me.
Psa. 23:5 (Nkjv) You Prepare A Table Before Me In The Presence Of My Enemies; You Anoint My Head With Oil; My Cup Runs Over.
Psa. 23:6 (Nkjv) Surely Goodness And Mercy Shall Follow Me All The Days Of My Life; And I Will Dwell In The House Of The Lord Forever.
