This morning, we conclude our series on “Rediscovering who God really is”…
There truly is an adventure to relating with God that I hope you are beginning to understand and learning to enjoy.
God wants to be enjoyed & He wants to enjoy you! He has made every provision for you to become WHO He has called you to be and HOW He sees you to be.
Don’t grow weary and pursuing Him and fellowshipping with Him. He is not hiding. He is not playing hard to get. And He most certainly is not trying to avoid you because you have disappointed Him somehow.
He wants a relationship with you! Remember, God is relational before functional. Everything stems from relationship with God. He wants to be known and wants to build a relationship with you through fellowship and intimacy.
Over the last 3 weeks, I have attempted to convey to you the wonderful and amazing things I have come to learn and love about God. Who He is, How He sees life and how He sees you.
I know personally it has birthed within me a greater desire to know Him and consistently ask the question I shared in week 1 –
God who do you want to be for me right now that you couldn’t be for me any other time?
It’s a powerful question, because it causes curiosity to rise up in my heart as I wait and listen to God and discover Him in my circumstances; WHO He wants to be for me right now!!!
These last two years for me, He has become my PEACE and CONTENTMENT.
Acts 17.28 (NKJV) for in Him we live and move and have our being…
Let’s look at the passage in Jer. one final time –
Jer. 9.23 (NKJV) Thus says the LORD: “Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, Let not the mighty man glory in his might, Nor let the rich manglory in his riches;
Jer. 9.24 (NKJV) But let him who glories glory in this, That he understands and knows Me, That I am the LORD, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth. For in these I delight,” says the LORD.
