Knowing God – 2. God is consistent but unpredictable

God is ALWAYS CONSISTENT, but also hilariously unpredictable.

He’s consistent in His nature. You always know where you are with God.

• He doesn’t lie. (Numbers 23:19)
• He is consistently faithful. (Heb. 10:23)
• He is consistently with you. (Heb. 13:5)
• He is consistently good. (Ps. 136:1)
• He is consistently pursuing you. (Ps. 139)
• He is consistently watching over you. (Job. 34:21)
• He is consistently ordering your steps. (Ps. 37:23)
• He is consistently paving the way. (Joseph – Gen. 45)
• He is consistently working all things together for the good. (Rom. 8:28)

BUT…  you seldom know what He’s gonna do next and HOW He is going to do it. He don’t know how He is going to pull off that miracle, or set you up for success or deliver you from a bind or set you free from financial difficulty.

Is. 55.8 (NKJV)  “For My thoughts are not your thoughts,  Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord.

Is. 55.9 (NKJV)  “For as the heavens are higher than the earth,  So are My ways higher than your ways,  And My thoughts than your thoughts.

That is why I encourage everyone I disciple to eliminate two deadly questions from their spiritual vocabulary –

1. HOW GOD?
2. WHEN GOD?
