God is RELATIONAL before He is functional.

Everything stems first from relationship with God.

Matt. 11.28 (NLT) Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.

Matt. 11.29 (NLT) Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle, and you will find rest for your souls.

Matt. 11.30 (NLT) For my yoke fits perfectly, and the burden I give you is light.”

1Cor. 1.30 (NKJV) But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption—

Ex. 3.11 (NKJV) But Moses said to God, “Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh, and that I should bring the children of Israel out of Egypt?”

Ex. 3.12 (NKJV) So He said, “I will certainly be with you. And this shall be a sign to you that I have sent you: When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you shall serve God on this mountain.”

Ex. 3.13 (NKJV) Then Moses said to God, “Indeed, when I come to the children of Israel and say to them, “The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they say to me, ‘What is His name?’ what shall I say to them?”

Ex. 3.14 (NKJV) And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’ ”

  • Grace is relational before functional.
  • Peace is relational before functional.
  • Joy is relational before functional.
  • Favor is relational before functional.
  • Victory is relationship before functional.

John 15.1 (NKJV) “I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser.

John 15.5 (NKJV) “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.

The function of a branch is not to produce a fruit. It is to abide to the vine.
