LOVE found a way!!!

Over and over in my heart this week, I kept hearing that phrase, “Love found a way!!!”

It’s the essence of the gospel! “Love found a way!”

As I read through the scripture and have done so for many years, I realize more and more that each page contains a thread of God’s Redemptive story for His people.

My prayer for you and us collectively is that we would learn to ENJOY God and this book (The Bible) would become a delight. More than any other thing in our life.

Please know –

This is not a rules book.

This is not a “how to love God more” book.

Its not “how to be a better person or Christian” book.

It is a book exploring the depths of God’s redeeming LOVE for mankind. It’s a beautiful story that has been woven together throughout history. Each generation playing their role in depicting God’s love for mankind.

Remember this about God. He is both Just and Love. One is not better than the other. Every aspect of God is both perfect and complete. And I believe that is important for us to know.

We talk much about God’s Love here at New Day, but I want to make sure we don’t ignore the other beautiful side of our Father – His Justice & Righteous Standard!

And ultimately that is the dilemma & also the beauty of the gospel.

How can a Just God forgive mankind?

Why couldn’t God just pardon us with Christ dying on the cross?

Was it necessary for Jesus to die and if so why?

As I share today I believe some of those Questions will be answered and the depth of God’s love will be revealed in a mighty way in your life.

Paul even prayed,

Eph. 3.17 (NLT) And I pray that Christ will be more and more at home in your hearts as you trust in him. May your roots go down deep into the soil of God’s marvelous love.

Eph. 3.18 (NLT) And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love really is.

Eph. 3.19 (NLT) May you experience the love of Christ, though it is so great you will never fully understand it. Then you will be filled with the fullness of life and power that comes from God.

Over the last few weeks, I truly believe God is revealing to us that His love raises us up into who we are called to be and DO.

Paul tells us, Love is the superior way to live this life!

I am convinced, which I wasn’t always, that the more revelation we have of God’s love the more we can be confident and secure in our relationship with our Father.

It’s NOT our job JUST to tell the world that God loves them.

The world needs to SEE you AND I enjoying being loved by God.

When the world sees you enjoying God, they will want to be loved by God, too.

We have become really good at TELLING people that God loves them, but behaving towards those people as though He doesn’t.

That is NOT authentic.

The world doesn’t need to hear only that they are loved by God; the world needs to SEE what that love looks like.

They need to see us living in the affections of God.

They need to see us being confident and being trusting.

They need to see us experiencing the enjoyment of God.

They need to see our lives being consistent.

They need to see that God’s love never fails.

They need to see us being absolutely linked, inseparable.

They need to see us so attached to love that it creates a longing and curiosity in their own heart.

It is in your DNA to be loved by God in such a radical way that everything about you is changed – that you are so safe and so secure in the love of God that you no longer are trying to earn His love but you are fully living in response to His love.
