Knowledge does not lead to transformation.

Is. 55.8 (NKJV) “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” says the LORD.
Is. 55.9 (NKJV) “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts.

God has thoughts.
The enemy has thoughts.

We have a mind.

God wants us to receive His.
The enemy wants to plant his.

Ex. Of shooting down the men infiltrating base camp.

Col. 3.1 (NKJV) If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God.
Col. 3.2 (NKJV) Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.

We are to SET our mind on His thoughts… Because Our Mind Has a tendency to DRIFT.

What are His thoughts about…???

A mind neglected will…
Drift into negativity.
Drift into doubt and unbelief.
Drift into fear and worry.
Drift into sin.

Example – Dirt hill on the way to church… not maintained weeds manifest… soil with no gardner causes weeds… no different with your mind…

We have between 40,000-60,000 thoughts every day and most of the time (85%) they are negative…

God desires to transform us and upgrade us into who we are In Him.

2Cor. 3.18 (NKJV) But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.

But How?

Spirit Soul Body…

Rom. 12.1 (NKJV) I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.
Rom. 12.2 (NKJV) And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Recalibrate Your Mind. To What? To His way of Thinking.

God’s thoughts toward us are according to His covenant with us.

Psa. 139.17 (NKJV) How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them!
Psa. 139.18 (NKJV) If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand; When I awake, I am still with You.

We must daily renew our mind to the New Realities of the gospel… aligning my thoughts to what is now true because I am in Christ.

Over the course of the next few weeks I am going to share some God Thoughts I’ve had to renew my mind toward While on the journey with Him.

Remember in light of all I will share with you, He was revealing to me that He is Relational Before Functional.

Reality #1 – I am not a victim but I will overcome… because I am at an advantage with God.

A victim lives believing they are now at a disadvantage because of what was done to them.

2Cor. 2.14 (NKJV) Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.

Rom. 8.31 (NKJV) What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

Reality #2 – He doesn’t see problems only possibilities. There is no negativity in Heaven.

Matt. 19.26 (NKJV) But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

Mark 9.23 (NKJV) Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”

Mark 10.27 (NKJV) But Jesus looked at them and said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible.”

Reality #3 – He doesn’t examine the sinner. He examined the Lamb and found Him worthy.

Jesus Was The PERFECT Lamb Of God.

The Question In The Ot Was “Where Is The Lamb?”
The Answer In The Nt Is “Behold The Lamb!”
Our Cry Throughout Eternity Will Be “Worthy Is The Lamb!”

Rev. 5.12 (NKJV) saying with a loud voice: “Worthy is the Lamb who was slain To receive power and riches and wisdom, And strength and honor and glory and blessing!”

1cor. 5:7 (Nkjv) therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a NEW lump, since you truly are unleavened (clean). For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us.
